NFC business card prices: what sets the price, and how to compare
An NFC business card costs from a few euros for a blank card you program yourself, to several tens of euros for a custom card in metal or wood. The card's price doesn't tell the whole story: most complete offers add a subscription for the page it opens. Compare the cost over two or three years, and what the page really lets you do.

What the price covers
The NFC chip itself costs little. The price of an NFC business card comes down to four other things:
- The material and finish: PVC, wood or metal, printing, engraving, your brand colours.
- The programming: the card arrives encoded, or you do it yourself with an app.
- The page it opens: hosting, unlimited edits, saving the contact, statistics.
- The service: preparing the page, support, replacing a faulty card.
The three types of offers
- The blank card, a few euros: you write a link onto the chip yourself. Nothing to pay afterwards, but the link is fixed, with no editable page and no statistics. Our guide to cheap review stands explains how to program one.
- The card with a free page: the page exists, but it's often limited, branded by the provider, or designed to move you to a paid plan. Check what happens to the page if the free offer disappears.
- The card with a subscription: the card is bought once, the page is paid monthly or yearly. It's the most complete option: editable page, statistics, modules, support.
How much an Abracarda card costs
Our prices are shown: €39 for the card, bought once, then €9.90 a month or €99 a year for the page, the reviews module and the statistics. The first 14 days are free, with no credit card.
One subscription covers every page on your account: several businesses or several people are managed in one place. Custom branding, cards in bulk, stands and stickers are quoted on request.
What to compare
- The cost over two or three years, card and subscription included, not just the card's price.
- What happens to the card if you stop: does it still redirect, and to what? With us, it leads to a page saying it's no longer active, and works again as soon as the subscription resumes, without buying a new card.
- What the page lets you do: unlimited edits, saving the contact in one tap, Google reviews, statistics, several languages.
- Where the data is hosted, and what is recorded about people who open the page. See our guide to the digital business card.
- Customisation and volumes, if you're equipping a team.
NFC card or paper card: the real calculation
A box of paper cards costs little, but it's reprinted every time your number, role or address changes, and some of it ends up in the bin. An NFC card is bought once: the page is what changes. The calculation tips towards NFC as soon as your details change, or you want to know whether your cards are used. How it works is covered in our guide to the NFC business card.
