NFC cards and stands that get you more Google reviews
Your customer taps their phone, gives a rating, and lands on the review form of your Google Business Profile. No app, no searching for your name in Maps. A QR code does the same for phones without NFC.
14-day free trial, no card required.
One tap instead of five steps
Without a card, leaving a review means opening Maps, searching for your business, finding the button, then the right star. Many give up on the way. With the card, the form is open in a second.
While they're still happy
Reviews get written while the customer is still there: at the table, at the till, at the end of the appointment. Back home that evening, their mind is elsewhere.
Within Google's rules
An unhappy customer can always choose to post. Asking only satisfied customers is against Google's policies, and can cost a profile all its reviews.
Numbers, not guesswork
Scans, ratings given, visits to Google, private messages: it's all in your dashboard, over 7, 30 or 90 days.
01 · How it works
How does an NFC Google review card work?
The card contains an NFC chip and carries a QR code. Neither stores your reviews or your data: they open the address of your Abracarda page, where the reviews module is waiting for your customer.
- The customer taps their phone on the card, or scans the QR code.
- Your page opens and asks for a rating from 1 to 5 stars.
- From your threshold up (4 stars by default), the review form of your Google profile opens straight away.
- Below it, two choices appear: write to you privately, which is highlighted, or post publicly anyway.
The private message reaches your dashboard and your inbox, with the customer's number if they left it. You can call back the same day instead of finding a one-star rating the next morning.
02 · Formats
Card, sticker or stand: where should they go?
The right format is the one within the customer's reach at the moment they're happy. Three spots work particularly well:
- The card slips into the bill folder, goes with the receipt, or comes out at the end of a service.
- The sticker goes on the table, the counter or the window: the customer scans without anyone handing them anything.
- The stand sits at reception or next to the card terminal, where the customer waits a few seconds with nothing to do.
Every format in a business can open the same page. Your dashboard then shows which one gets scanned most, and tells you where to move it.
03 · The difference
More than a stand with a Google link
A basic review stand holds a fixed link to your Google profile. It works until the day something changes. An Abracarda format opens a page you control:
- Editable without re-encoding: new review link, new threshold, new profile, the format follows without you touching it.
- A way out for unhappy customers: the private message gives them another route than a public rating, without ever closing that one.
- Your whole page behind it: call, directions, WhatsApp, social media, save your contact. A customer who just rated you can follow you too.
- Statistics: how many scans, how many ratings, how many visits to Google, and from which format.
- Even without a Google profile: reviews can be published directly on your page, under public rules.
04 · Compliance
Reviews with no risk to your profile
Google removes reviews obtained through manipulation, and can restrict a profile that accumulates them. Three practices are at stake, and the card allows none of them by default:
- Filtering: sending only satisfied customers to Google. Our default mode always lets an unhappy customer post.
- Rewarding: offering a discount or a coffee in exchange for a review. The card offers nothing of the kind.
- Faking: posting reviews yourself, or having friends and family post them. The card only makes a real customer's review easier.
Asking all your customers for a review, on the other hand, is allowed, and even encouraged by Google. The rules, and the risks of bending them, are covered in our guide to getting more Google reviews.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How do I get the review link for my Google profile?
In your Google Business Profile, the « Ask for reviews » button gives you a short link to the review form. Paste it into your dashboard, or send it to us: we add it when we prepare your page.
Does the customer need to install an app?
No. They tap their phone and the page opens in their browser. To post on Google, they just need a Google account, as for any review.
Does it work with every phone?
iPhones read NFC with nothing to install since the iPhone XR and iOS 13, and most Android phones have it on by default. For the rest, the printed QR code opens the same page.
Am I allowed to ask customers for reviews?
Yes: Google encourages businesses to do so. What is forbidden is asking only satisfied customers, rewarding a review, or posting fake ones.
Can I change the link or the threshold later?
Yes, at any time, from your dashboard. The format points to your page, not to Google: you change what it opens without re-encoding or buying it again.
How much does a Google review card cost?
€39 for the card, bought once, then €9.90 per month or €99 per year for the page, the reviews module and the statistics. Stickers, stands and custom branding are quoted on request. The first 14 days are free.
